Material density varies
Gravel bulk density can vary with rock type, particle size, grading, moisture content, void space and compaction. Preset densities are approximate planning values. Supplier-specific data should take priority.
Site conditions matter
Uneven ground, drainage, settlement, excavation depth, sub-base preparation and compaction can materially change the amount needed. Driveways and structural bases may require professional design or local code compliance.
Cost estimates
Optional cost calculations multiply estimated material weight by the price you enter. They do not automatically include delivery, taxes, minimum order quantities, disposal, equipment, labor or other project charges.
